Flipbooks faced the challenge of optimizing its e-learning platform to support a growing number of schools and students while maintaining cost efficiency. Migrating to DigitalOcean and implementing data compression was essential to reduce storage costs and enhance performance. Additionally, a modular, event-driven architecture was required to enable rapid expansion and seamless onboarding of new schools. Ensuring secure interactions for students and teachers was a top priority, necessitating the implementation of role-based access controls, data encryption, and secure authentication to protect sensitive data and maintain a safe learning environment.
